Samsung has launched the Galaxy C9 Pro in India. The phone is priced at INR 36,900 ($543) and will be available in the second half of February 2017, although pre-booking will begin on January 27, 2017. Those who pre-book will also get a one-time screen replacement offer for the first 12 months.
The Galaxy C9 Pro has a 6.0-inch, 1920x1080 Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 with 6GB of RAM (first for a Samsung phone), 64GB expandable storage, 16 megapixel cameras on the front and back with f1.9 aperture each, stereo speakers, dual SIM, USB-C, and a 4000mAh battery.
The phone comes with Android 6.0 out of the box, which is not surprising since this isnt exactly a new phone and was launched in China late last year. It will be available in black, and gold.
